Backup + Update Tools

Update rule: Download a parent backup before installing a new version. Restore it after the update if progress does not carry over.
Backup rule: Save backup JSON files in Google Drive > Kids Learning Apps > Phonics Fluency Portal > Backups.

Shared Parent Dashboard Later

This app now exports a structured backup file that can later feed a combined parent dashboard with Monster Math Arcade.

Settings

Daily rule: Keep practice around 20 minutes. Fluency grows from short, consistent reps.
Easier update flow: Parent Dashboard → Download Parent Backup → install/open the new app version → Parent Dashboard → Import Backup.
Install note: The best install experience requires the PWA package to be hosted on a normal HTTPS static host. Google Drive is excellent for storing backups and files, but it is not reliable as true PWA hosting.
